MTB and Gravel
Join us on a ride through the beautiful surrounding areas of Winchcombe and the North Cotswolds
The main club runs takes place on Sunday, Wednesday Mornings and Thursday night rides, throughout the year.
Routes will be on & off road in the local hills using the extensive network of bridleways and green lanes the surrounding area has to offer. Routes will normally be decided on the day depending on weather conditions, group size & experience. Duration will be 3-4 hours covering between 30-60km

Sunday
Ride departs from the Library Car Park, Back Lane, Winchcombe 9:30 am all year round. Route will be decided on the day depending on group size and conditions and finish at the White Hart Winchcombe.
Wednesday
Ride departs from the Rear Library Car Park, Back Lane, Winchcombe 9:30 am all year round. Route will be decided on the day depending on group size and conditions. Wednesday ride will be a more leisurely pace and finish at the White Hart Winchcombe.
Thursday (night rides, lights required)
Rides will depart from the Library Car Park, Back Lane Winchcombe 6:30 pm prompt. Route is local taking in Cleeve Hill this will be a faster pace. Ride will be 2 hours in duration and finish at the White Hart Winchcombe.
Expeditions
We have several trips to ride locations further afield throughout the year to for example: The Forest of Dean / Afan Park / Bike Park Wales.
Events
Riders from the section traditionally take part in several events throughout the year such as Mountain Mayhem – not forgetting our very own HONC (Hell of the North Cotswolds).
NEW RIDERS
We always welcome new riders joining us. There is no need to join the club before coming and trying it out.If you’re already a regular cyclist and happy with 3 hours riding (25 miles) then please feel free to join us on any Sunday/Wednesday Morning. If you would like to ride with us as a Guest please complete an online GUEST RIDER FORM*
*If you are under 18 years of age we need the PARENTAL PERMISSION* section completed and riders under 16 will need to be accompanied by their parent/guardian or an adult nominated by them. It is club policy to discuss a junior rider’s current ability BEFORE they join a ride to ensure it is suitable for them, please email: admin@winchcombecc.org.uk
Wearing of a suitable helmet is compulsory.
